The Rummelsberg services for people in old age are looking for motivated trainees, who are at least 18 years old, for the training as a nurse in geriatric care (m/f/d).
Your role
- Nurses look after and care for people in all areas of care (nursing, pediatrics and geriatrics). They carry out procedures ordered by doctors, assist with examinations, document patient data and contribute to quality assurance.
- A nursing specialist is a nationally standardised, school-based training programme offered by professional schools (nursing schools). It lasts three years and leads to a state final examination.
- Nursing specialists in geriatric care look after and care for elderly people. They support them in their everyday lives, provide advice, motivate them to engage in meaningful activities and free-time pursuits, and perform medical care tasks
Your profile
- School leaving certificate equivalent to the German Abitur (university entrance qualification) or secondary school leaving certificate (approx. 10 years of schooling) or qualifying secondary school leaving certificate (approx. 9 years of schooling in conjunction with completed vocational training or training in the medicalsocial field)
- Suitability for a career in nursing and social commitment
- Proficient German language skills (at least B1 level, certificate needed) as well as the motivation and willingness to improve these skills
- Loyalty to the church and social welfare organization

- Salary in accordance with AVR-Bayern Diakonie (€1,473 gross in the first year of training) with an attractive employer-financed company pension scheme and supplementary health insurance to supplement health insurance benefits, annual bonus payment in November (status as at 1.1.2026)
